ITV Grand National sweepstake: How to enter for your chance to win £50,000 jackpot

The world's most-watched horse race is almost here, with Aintree welcoming spectators for the first time in two years and 150,000 expected to come through the turnstiles over the three-day event. It has become an annual tradition for many to pick a runner in the main event, even if they don't take an interest in racing during the hundreds of other meetings in the year.

Whether you choose your horse thanks to a clever tip, its name or you just like its racing colours - punters are always in with a chance. In fact, there have been instances of winning horses starting the race at a huge 100/1, the last of which was Mon Mome in 2009. £300million is set to be spent on the Grand National in the UK alone, but not everyone will be successful.

Every high street bookmaker will be looking to entice you with sign-up offers and free bets, but if you're looking to keep things more fun and get the chance to win £50,000, the ITV Grand National Sweepstake is free to enter.

How to enter the ITV Grand National sweepstake

To enter, head to ITV7 and log in with your ITV7 or Sky Bet account. If you don't have one, you will have to register to enter. If your horse wins the Grand National race you will be entered into a Prize Draw to win £50,000.

An incredible £600,000 was won in the ITV7 across the Cheltenham Festival last month, with an individual winner bagging £500k alone.

How to pick a horse in the ITV Grand National Sweepstake

When you enter the sweepstake competition, ITV will draw you a horse at random. Your horse will be allocated to you prior to 14:00pm on Friday 8 April if you register before that time, but those entering after that date will have theirs selected immediately.

You can enter until 5.15pm on 09.04.2022, the day of the race, you have to be 18 years old or older and terms and conditions apply.
