ITV Good Morning Britain viewers think the same thing as Richard Madeley interviews Ant Middleton

Popular breakfast show, ITV Good Morning Britain has been criticised for giving Ant Middleton airtime on Monday. Richard Madeley and Ranvir Singh welcomed the former SAS Who Dares Wins star onto the show.

But on Twitter, fans were not pleased. Richard Curtis moaned: "I didn't realise Ant Middleton was an authority on climate change. Why would you pick him? Why not actually choose to inform your viewers, you know, leave them better informed than when you started."

Nicola fumed: "Madeley - bullies a young female climate change protester, 10 minutes later, he's arse licking 'professional bully' Ant Middleton." C asked: "Why give him airtime?"

Paul wrote: "Richard Madeley at it again.... Speaking to Ant Middleton. “If you visited Ukraine again, would you be tempted to pick up a gun?” I swear the man is obsessed with his guests shooting people!"

Ozman wrote: "Ant knows all about "making mistakes" Shame the interviewers didn't ask him about his biggest one" Sara said: "Ant Middleton is an utter w*****. If the next generation are “too comfortable” whose fault is that? Oh yes, that would be your generation you t*** "
