Good Morning Britain viewers were taken aback as Susanna Reid shut down an interview on today's show.
The 51-year-old broadcaster fronted Wednesday's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Ed Balls. They interviewed Just Stop Oil protestor Sam Johnson on another jam-packed programme.
The broadcasters debated whether Just Stop Oil was a "danger to society" as protestors continued to block the M25 in a third day of travel chaos. Mr Johnson claimed that the media isn't doing enough to talk about the issues surrounding climate change.

Susanna hit back at the claims as she pointed toward the efforts of Laura Tobin to raise awareness around climate change. Susanna took the drastic measure to shut down the interview when Mr Johnson admitted he didn't watch the show.
She said: "The trouble is people are distracted by what you're doing. You don't have any idea what this programme does. You don't have any idea who our meteorologist is.
Laura Tobin is one of the most outspoken people on climate change who has written an entire book about what we each need to do as individuals on climate change and you have the audacity to come on here and say that we're completely distracted and not talking about the issues.
"We talk about them every single morning. You're not getting people on your side including people who would be naturally sympathetic to your cause. Sorry and I'm gonna end it there because you've already said that you don't watch and you don't get it "
Viewers following the show on Twitter praised Susanna after the move.
