ITV Good Morning Britain viewer 'sick' of Robert Rinder - but star hits back

Judge Robert Rinder's appearance on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Wednesday (January 19) created a stir on social media.

On the show to promote his upcoming BBC documentary My Family, The Holocaust And Me, some took to Twitter to claim he only gets the morning TV gig because he’s good friends with Susanna Reid.

But Rinder hit back at Good Morning Britain viewers, reports Yorkshire Live.

Appearing alongside Susanna Reid and co-host Adil Ray, he spoke on the show about his two-part series and explained how it was going to follow him and his mum as they found out what happened to their ancestors during World War II.

Throughout the ITV hit show viewers often take to social media to share their opinions.

However, one tweet in particular caught Robert's eye and he couldn’t help kindly responding.

The viewer wrote: "Sick of @RobbieRinder being on @GMB just because he is friends with @susannareid100 just the same thing again and again on this program #GMB."

Rob hit back at the comment and responded: “Hey ‘love and kindness influencer'. I’m on this morning to talk about my documentary the Holocaust, my family and me BBC4 9pm. I do hope you watch it."

Following Rob’s response it seems as though the troll changed his tune and had a sudden change of heart.

He quickly replied back to the star and said: “Just added your program tonight to my watchlist look forward to it Rob.

“Thanks so much for replying today though I really appreciate it and a bit of banter along the way. Just stop popping up on GMB all the time #Love&Respect.”

Rinder, who has also appeared on Celebrity Googlebox alongside Susanna, has made multiple appearances on Good Morning Britain. Back in November he co-presented the programme for the first time alongside Susanna as he stood in for Richard Madeley.

Despite a viewer's recent comment he impressed other fans with his hosting debut that they demanded for him to become a permanent fixture. My Family, The Holocaust And Me is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
