ITV Good Morning Britain under fire as it 'offends' viewers with 'shameful' Eurovision blunder

Good Morning Britain has come under fire from viewers after suffering what they described as a 'shameful' Eurovision blunder. The annual song contest is just days away and the first semi-final takes place on Tuesday night (May 10).

There will be a second semi-final on Thursday night which will decide the full line-up for the competition which takes place in Turin, Italy on Saturday (May 14). And the UK's entry Sam Ryder is hoping to do better than our last attempt which received the dreaded 'nil poi'.

With the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest getting closer it is no surprise it was being discussed on GMB on Tuesday morning. Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley were joined on the ITV news programme by their showbiz editor Richard Arnold in the studio. They spoke about how the Ukrainian entry is the favourite to win this year's contest.
