Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley has been called out by viewers for his 'unprofessional' attitude on the ITV show on Tuesday morning, during a tense Russia-focused interview.
The ITV host sparked outrage on Twitter as he interviewed a former senior British advisor to US central command, Chip Chapman, and questioned the uses of sexual assault as a "weapon of war".
Not too long into the interview, Richard asked guest Chip: "Chip, we've said something that was widely reported this morning that rape was used as a weapon of war. How exactly is rape a weapon of war?"

Chip replied: "It's trying to impose some sort of will on the enemy as I mentioned in Second World War times.
"It is absolutely horrific and if you've got compromised morality and unchecked par with those with weapons you have a lethal combination of the future.
"It is absolutely disgraceful and people need to be held to account."
After this sensitive topic was discussed, GMB viewers took to social media to share their anger at the host, with one Twitter user writing: "#GMB Gotta be desperate to have Richard Madeley presenting awful."
