Good Morning Britain viewers were divided as Richard Madeley returned to the ITV show as host with news about his family. The 66-year-old made his comeback this morning (October 11) around two months after he last co-presented the breakfast TV programme.
After they welcomed viewers to the show, Richard gushed about his new granddaughter Bodhi Rae Georgia Haskell to co-star Susanna Reid, who said: "Your family has changed since I last saw you." Richard revealed that his daughter Chloe gave birth to Bohdi during his last appearance on the show in mid-August, but he was asked not to say anything at the time.
He said his daughter, who he shares with wife Judy Finnigan, was in labour while they were filming, reports the Manchester Evening News. Richard added: "The baby was actually born at 8:40am, while we were in the commercial break, which was very handy."
