ITV Emmerdale viewers 'work out' Faye's true identity as they spot clear error

Emmerdale viewers are convinced they have worked out Faye's true identity after she made a clear error.

Fans have been suspicious of the newcomer's motives ever since she arrived in the fictional village. Faye since sparked a relationship with Mary Goskirk and their romance blossomed

However, Faye was hit with some bad news in Tuesday's programme after she was told her women's shelter had burned down. Mary was concerned and said she would do whatever she could to help.

Faye spurned the help and insisted she would look to do everything she can to raise funds to keep the shelter going. Viewers following the show on Twitter are convinced something more sinister is at play.

Fans took to the social media platform and called out Faye's suspicious response to the news and said this was evidence that she was actually going to scam Mary.

Ian said: "So her place burns down and she doesn't rush off to see what can be done or even get on the phone for updates. Contact insurance company etc.....clearly yet another con artist scenario"

Spartacus added: "Is Mary’s new girlfriend a scam artist??"

MIchael said: "She’s a con woman"

Julie added: "Think Mary's woman might be a con artist."
