Emmerdale fans have hit out at the soap, claiming it has gone 'too far' with its latest scenes. The ITV soap was back on-screen in its 7.30pm slot on Tuesday night (August 9) and the latest love triangle to hit the Yorkshire village continued.
At the start of the week viewers were left shocked when Gabby Thomas headed out on a date with her step mum Laurel's new love interest, Kit. The character has made fleeting appearances in Emmerdale as Marlon Dingle's physiotherapist. But after catching the eye of Laurel, the pair have been enjoying secret rendezvous.
And they appear so secret that Gabby doesn't realise she is now sleeping with the same man! At the end of Monday night's episode, Emmerdale fans saw the 20-year-old mum, played by Rosie Bentham, excitedly heading off on her first date since welcoming her son, Thomas.
