Emmerdale viewers are gutted to see Mary fall in love with Faye who only intends on using her.
For the last few weeks, Mary has slowly allowed herself to fall in love with newcomer Faye. It's the first time she's explored a same-sex relationship which has left her feeling happier, shaking the feeling of shame that's haunted her for years.
The relationship is starting to pick up pace but unbeknownst to Mary, she's falling victim to a con artist trying to swindle her out of her money. Faye asked Mary to run away to Ecuador with her and a love-struck Mary is now considering the offer.

Viewers have known Faye is a con artist for a few days now and find it difficult to watch Mary be taken advantage of. One viewer said: "Listen to your daughter Mary!! Don’t trust Faye #Emmerdale if anyone’s opinion matters it’s Rhona’s."
Another added: "Feel so sorry for Mary she thinks she has finally found love." While a third said: "I feel sorry for Mary. She deserves better than Faye."
And a final who added: "Mary is gonna wish she listened to Rhona sooner…" Rhona has been trying to help Mary stay grounded to reality, reinstating how drastic a jump across the world is for someone she's just met.
Mary refuses to listen to anyone other than Faye which means heartbreak is more than likely just around the corner.
