Emmerdale star, Daisy Campbell, was "shocked" after being stopped by police in Pontefract on Saturday night. The 19-year-old, who has played Amelia Spencer for the last 11 years, had been on a night out with friends when two officers from West Yorkshire Police stopped her for a chat.
Luckily, the star was not in trouble and had instead been asked to pose for a photo with the officers, who were both big Emmerdale fans. Daisy had been out on the town celebrating her recent 19th birthday.
West Yorkshire Police shared photos of the celebrity encounter on the force's Facebook page, with both officers smiling happily after meeting the young actress. A police spokesman said: "When two of our officers, who just so happen to both be big fans of Emmerdale saw Amelia Spencer from the soap it was only natural for them to become 'fanboys' and ask for a photo with her!
