Sarah Sugden is regarded as one of Emmerdale's most important characters.
Debbie Dingle's daughter has been played by Katie Hill on the long-running soap since 2017. The soap star took over the role from Sophia Amber Moore and is the fifth actress to play the character.
She has endured a rollercoaster time in the fictional Yorkshire village, which has included a battle with Falconi anaemia. It has been a busy week for the character as she became suspicious of Chloe Harris' relationship with Mackenzie Boyd.

Fortunately for the 19-year-old soap star, her life away from the fictional Yorkshire village is a lot less dramatic than her on screen counterpart's. Katie regularly shares her updates of her exciting life with her 100,000 Instagram followers.
The soap star is not just a talented actress as she has often wowed fans with clips showcasing her impressive singing skills. She shared a clip on the social media platform last year performing a rendition of Creep by Radiohead.
Daisy Campbell, who plays Amelia Spencer on Emmerdale, took to the comments to praise her ability. She said: "The best."
The two are close friends away from the screen and Katie shot back: "Love you."
Katie also took to the social media platform last year to reveal an embarrassing blunder as she turned up to the set. The actress was mortified as she revealed she turned away from set when she discovered from ITV bosses she wasn't scheduled to be in.
She said: "Not me turning up to work at 7am to be told I'm not even in today."
