Emmerdale is set for a shock affair twist and Paddy Kirk could be about to find himself in trouble.
The character, played by Dominic Brunt, has endured a tumultuous period in the fictional Yorkshire village. He has recently been shocked to discover his wife, Chas Dingle, was having an affair with Al Chapman before the character, played by Michael Wildman, was killed last year.
Viewers following the show on Twitter have been horrified by Chas' behaviour. Laura said during Wednesday's episode: "Chas having a go at Paddy was vile."

Paddy has been struggling since the revelation but spoilers have revealed his spiral will lead him back into the arms of ex-wife, Mandy Dingle. Spoilers said: "Paddy opens up to Mandy, but as they take a trip down memory lane, old passions are reawakened and they soon find themselves falling into bed together. Will this instant need for gratification and company help Paddy, or will he find himself spiralling into an even deeper depression?"
It's set to be a dramatic period in the fictional Yorkshire village as characters are about to find out their actions can have serious consequences. Noah Dingle has been there to support Amelia Spencer since the birth of her baby.
The character, played by Jack Downham, has suggested setting up a trust fund for baby Esther. However, his generous actions will be exposed by Esther's biological dad, Samson Dingle.
Samson has avoided his fatherly duties since the baby was born and he will scheme to try to blackmail Noah for money. However, the sinister behaviour could eventually compromise his whole family.
There will also be another twist in the storyline between Mackenzie Boyd and Charity Dingle. Mack had an affair with Chloe Harris when he thought he was on a break with Charity.
The two have since repaired their relationship and Mack has tried to put the affair behind him. However, he was rocked to discover Chloe is now pregnant after the affair and Chas invited her to stay with them after she fell on hard times.
The two are currently looking forward to a big Dingle wedding, but the past will soon catch up with him and as the baby bombshell will explode in Mack’s face. Spoilers add: "With the revelation that the love of her life cheated on her, could we see Charity revert to the old her and press the self-destruct button?"
