Lisa Riley has been supported by her co-stars as she issued a health update.
The 46-year-old actress is renowned for her role as Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale. It is a landmark week for the soap as it prepares to celebrate its 50th birthday on Sunday.
The anniversary will be marked in dramatic fashion as a storm is set to rip through the fictional village. Lisa is an integral part of the show as she has played the iconic character since 1995.

She regularly posts updates from her life with her 186,000 Instagram followers. The soap star has taken to the social media platform to reveal she tested positive for coronavirus.
She said: "DAY 3 of this horrible Covid experience…….it’s really really rotten horrendous sore throat, coughing, endless coughing, and all round feel like absolute s**t!!!! For everyone else with this strain, I feel your pain hopefully feeling stronger soon
Lisa's co stars flooded the comments to send messages of support.
