Emmerdale's Dingle matriarch Faith is to be given devastating news in episodes to air later this week.
Faith's world will turn upside down when doctors tell her her breast cancer has returned. And as tensions remain high with her children, Cain and Chas, she'll find herself feeling pretty lonely and unable to confide in them.
Recent episodes have seen Faith distance herself from her son and daughter, after causing a scene in the Woolpack and launching a weight through glass panelling in Dan and Amelia's front door.

With nowhere else to turn, Faith leans on Moira for support. Moira urges Faith to tell the rest of the family, but she is adamant she must mend her relationships first.
The episodes have been produced with the support of the charity Breast Cancer Now who are working closely with the Emmerdale production team on Faith’s secondary cancer storyline to give it a realistic and authentic depiction.
Faith actress Sally Dexter said the storyline was "upsetting, but really important". She said: "It matters to people who are going through it as well as people who will go through it. I feel a sense of real responsibility, but also a privilege to be doing this storyline.”
