Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh has announced she is now engaged to her partner and EastEnders Actor Toby-Alexander Smith. Amy, 34, who plays the role of Tracy Metcalfe in Emmerdale, first met her now-fiancé in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2019.
Fast forward three years and the couple are now due to be married after Toby, 31, who is best known for playing villain Gray Atkins in EastEnders, proposed to Amy whilst on holiday in Ibiza. Sharing the news with their followers on Instagram, Amy posted a series of pictures beaming alongside her fiancé with the caption 'Before. During. After,' with a love heart and ring emoji.
The actress showed off the romantic setting where Toby popped the question, which was a tropical restaurant beside the sea. Another photo showed the pair appear to have had a meal and cocktails before the actor got down on one knee, and in another picture Amy flashed her stunning ring.

Toby also shared his own Instagram post revealing the news alongside the caption 'So this happened…' with a ring, praying and love heart emoji.
The loved-up couple were soon hit with messages from their friends and family, with their fellow soap stars and Amy's sister Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud amongst those to congratulate them.
" Too exciting!!!!," Kimberly gushed with six heart emojis.
Emmerdale's Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa, wrote: "Gorgeous couple" as EastEnders' Danielle Harold who plays Lola said: "congratulations you guys xx".
The couple have a baby girl together, Bonnie Mae Smith, who was born in December 2021.
Speaking of her daughter's name choice, Amy said: "Whenever we hypothetically talked about our family, we always said 'our little Bonnie'. When she came, she couldn’t have been more of a Bonnie."
"Her middle name is Mae. We wanted something with one syllable that went with her first name and surname, Smith."
Amy and Toby went public with their relationship during the Christmas period in 2020 when they were pictured on the red carpet at the opening night of A Christmas Carol in London.
The pair met in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2019 when Amy was supporting Emmerdale co-star Kelvin Fletcher and Toby was cheering on co-star Emma Barton.
