Emmerdale fans were gobsmacked as they recognised a newcomer's TV past.
Monday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the fallout from Meena Jutla's reign of terror. The character, played by Paige Sandhu, is currently awaiting trial for her crimes.
The evil nurse shocked viewers when she pleaded guilty to all charges of attempted murder and kidnapping in an episode broadcast last month. However, Meena killed Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker - and she pleaded not guilty to all three murder charges.

Meena's trial will soon begin and Jacob Gallagher spent tonight's episode trying to convince her sister Manpreet to testify in court. The latest visit to the Yorkshire village started with Meena as she was preparing for her day in court.
A prison officer entered her jail cell to inform Meena her barrister had arrived to talk through her strategy in court. Meena distracted the officer when she commented on his appearance - and viewers were also taken aback when they recognised the actor from another soap.
Viewers following the show on Twitter were convinced the security guard was played by Dean Smith, who played Phillip Ryan in BBC show, Waterloo Road.
Thomas said: "That prison officer was in waterloo road"
Amy added: "Omg it’s Rachel’s nephew from Waterloo Road!"
Lillie commented: "OMG Phil from Waterloo Road in #Emmerdale"
Kenzie tweeted: "Phillip Ryan out of waterloo road."
