Returning Emmerdale icon Danny Miller has told fans his fellow former co-star he’d love to see back in the soap.
As viewers likely know, Danny Miller, 31, will soon be back in Emmerdale as part of the soap’s major milestone. His scenes, back as Aaron Dingle, are set to air during the TV programme’s month of celebration happening in October.
Danny, who won I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! after leaving Emmerdale, said he’d love to see the character of Robert Dingle back as part of the milestone. Aaron and Robert were involved in a tumultuous relationship during their time in the village.

“Jane Hudson, our producer, said it was going to be action-packed, so I imagined there’d be some crazy thing where Aaron could turn up and kidnap Robert from prison. Danny said, talking to Inside Soap. “I was telling Ryan Hawley (who plays Robert) about it the other day.
“But no, although it would have been really nice to have him back - it is near impossible as Robert is banged up. But then, soap characters have been jailed for life and come back six years later. There’s always ways and means in soap.”
Danny has also addressed how he thinks Aaron would react if he discovers mum Chastity Dingle’s affair with Al Chapman. Many fans love her husband Paddy Dingle and are devastated by the storyline.
Danny explained: “In Aaron’s eyes, Paddy is his dad and he looked after him and gave him the life his biological dad robbed him of. So, he wouldn’t like (Chas cheating on Paddy) at all. If Aaron did find it would kill him not to tell Paddy but it could destroy the family at a time when Faith is so ill.”
