Isobel Steele is regarded as one of Emmerdale's most famous faces.
The 21-year-old is renowned for her role as Liv Dingle on the long-running soap. She joined the ITV show in 2016 and immediately won critical acclaim as she picked up Best Young Actor at the British Soap and Inside Soap awards.
Liv has endured a turbulent time in the fictional Yorkshire village as she has faced a battle with alcoholism. Her fortunes turned earlier this year when she started dating Vinny Dingle and the two characters married.

Her brother Aaron returned to the village to sign over the deeds of the mill and the scrapyard to his sister. However, the period of good fortune took a sharp turn in a dramatic week of episodes as Liv got caught up in the furious storm which ripped through the village.
Liv died in heartbreaking scenes this week after she was crushed by a caravan during the storm. Isobel developed close relationships with her co-stars away from the screen, who took to social media to issue gushing tributes after the character's exit.
Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, said: "@Isobel_steele - thank you for the last 7 years. The bond Aaron & Liv had was incomparable. Nobody ever came close. And that’s why you’ll always be in my life. Your Mum, Dad & Con will be so proud. Onward and upwards now for you our kid! Love you mate. See you at the caravan."
Isobel responded with a similarly gushing tribute. She said: "Thank you for everything Danny. Love you so much. Couldn’t have wished to share the screen with a better brother & friend. It’s been the best time of my life xxx see you at the caravan obvs x."
Liv also developed a close relationship with her co-star, Bradley Johnson, who plays Vinny Dingle. She issued a special message to her onscreen husband on his birthday. She said: "Happy birthday to my husband and friend. Very glad I know you. Love you."
The two left fans in hysterics with a video posted on the show's Instagram from Isobel's final day on set. The soap star thanked fans for the support over her time on the show before Bradley interrupted her to say she needs to give her security pass back.
He joked: "You're prolonging your exit a little bit here. Just get your pass, hand it in and kind of go." Fans flooded the comments and said they have been broken by the star's exit.
Susan said: "You’ve absolutely broken me! So brilliantly done!" Rich added: "Finished me right off!"
Amy commented: "Still bawling my eyes out" Lynn posted: "Heartbreaking! Still crying. Liv & Vinny forever."
The role in Emmerdale isn't Isobel's first time in front of the camera. She appeared in adverts for Park Foods, Bernard Matthews Ltd, Iceland and Harveys Furniture between 2008 and 2010.
A few years before taking on the role of Liv, she played Nicky in Lost in 2013, before going on to star in British drama Our Zoo the following year. Away from the screen, Isobel is a talented musician and regularly shares clips that showcase her singing ability.
On her dedicated Instagram profile, she proudly shared her appearance on BBC Radio Leeds as part of the broadcaster's ongoing BBC Music Introducing feature.
She captioned a shot alongside a piano: "If you missed it (I almost did!) go back and listen to BBC radio Leeds to hear my new song 'Homegrown'," the singer captioned a shot of herself performing besides a piano.
Aged just 18, Isobel released her first ever album, titled Sounds from the Lounge. Speaking about her love of music in the past, Isobel once told Inside Soap: "It’s just something I have always done. I’ve enjoyed the piano from a young age. I had lessons, and now write songs, so I thought I might as well share them.
"My music taste varies a lot, but from the start someone who has inspired me is Adele. She writes her own music and is brilliant."
