The latest episode of Emmerdale left fans upset after ITV's announcer issued a warning to viewers at the start of the show.
On Monday's instalment, viewers saw the effects on both Marlon Dingle and his family following his serious stroke. In scenes that aired last week, Marlon was hit with symptoms of a stroke as he saw his face seizing up in the mirror.
He collapsed before being rushed to the hospital. After regaining consciousness, it was confirmed that Marlon had lost the use of his speech, as he was seen struggling to pronounce easy words.

Prior to tonight's episode, the ITV announcer warned of 'scenes of distress views may find upsetting'. Tonight's show saw Marlon and Rhona struggle in the aftermath, along with his best friend Paddy.
Fans watching at home also found the episode very upsetting. Tina tweeted: "#Emmerdale Struggling to watch this now, Marlon's story is terrifying, brings it all home how fragile life is."
Matthew said: "Maybe one day we will get through an ep of #Emmerdale without scenes of distress announcement-Today isn't one of them #Marlon."
Michelle added: "If @markcharnock doesn't get any awards then something is wrong. He is doing incredible in this heartbreaking storyline."
And another said: "God I feel for Rhona at the moment after what happened with Marlon but most of all I feel for Marlon more."
Emmerdale has worked with The Stroke Association as part of the long-running storyline.
