ITV Emmerdale fans make the exact same complaint as Meena Jutla plans to frame Manpreet

Meena Jutla has certainly proved she isn't going down without a fight as she unleashed her latest plan in Emmerdale.

The serial killer was charged with what feels like a never-ending list of offences including the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate, and Ben Tucker.

There was also the small matters of attempted murder, kidnap, false imprisonment, and much, much more.

But despite being held bang to rights, Meena has still been seen unwilling to confess to what she has done without her village neighbours even suspecting a thing.

Emmerdale fans have watched in recent episodes as vicar Charles Anderson repeatedly visited Meena as she claimed to be looking for forgiveness and claimed she'd confess to her horrid crimes.

While admitting to killing Andrea, who was Charles' girlfriend at the time of her death in the maze fire horror last year, she said she'd only confess to more if her sister Manpreet Sharma paid her a visit.

Despite her better judgment, the doctor headed to the prison during Monday night's trip to the Dales and came face-to-face with her sister for the first time since she saw her being pushed over the bridge where Leanna died by Liam Cavanagh.

During an intense interaction that saw Manpreet slap her evil sibling, Meena asserted that they both must take responsibility for their actions – meaning that Manpreet will have to reveal that she lied to the police in her statement to protect Liam in order for Meena to confess her own wrongdoing.

However, Meena then seemed to agree to confess to everything she has done as Manpreet vowed to visit her.

But as ever, Meena cannot be trusted and at the very end of the episode she was seen back with DS Rogers where she started by telling him: "Please make sure you write this down properly... It’s very hard for me and I don’t want to say it all again. I’m bringing the darkness into light."

She then went on to claim she didn't kidknap Manpreet, that she was there of her own free will and that It was all her idea.

Meena then said that Manpreet killed Andrea and the latest twist left Emmerdale viewers in despair and making the same complaint.

"Absolutely ridiculous... how much longer can you possibly drag this nonsense on for!!!" @bobnorman70 said.

@fishpond2 commented: "Don't know but I do know you are dragging this out to the extreme where viewers are turning off! My advice wrap it up quickly before you drive viewers away!"

"Ffs #Emmerdale dragging the #Meena story out even further #stopit," @SparkyBhoyHH tweeted.

Meena was later seen telling lies to DS Rogers (ITV)

@sophieclemens_x shared: "It’s so boring now shared: "@emmerdale you’re ruining a good storyline by dragging it out. Why can’t serial killer ever get their comeuppance in soaps? #meena Talk about switching people off! #emmerdale."

"O M G This Meena storyline is DRAGGING OUT! I really thought it was coming to an end #Emmerdale," @WiniBoansi wrote.

@AprilQuinn2x added: "Dear @emmerdale just to let you know gonna watch @bbceastenders now. Things are happening there, while you're dragging on with that pantomime Meena serial killer bull twaddle #emmerdale #EastEnders. Furthermore, why did @ITV change the schedules?!"
