An unwelcome visitor reappeared in Emmerdale tonight.
Teary-eyed Liv Flaherty's mum, Sandra, revisited her daughter as she tried to make amends with her. But she was met with a hostile reception.
Grovelling to let her stay with them, Sandra told Liv and her partner Vinny that she was back to seek help with her drinking. But fans had other ideas, and thought there was a lot more to it.

Taking to Twitter, viewers shared what they thought would happen. Mick said: "Sandra’ll be wanting something. #Emmerdale" Chris said: "#Emmerdale what lies will Sandra spin Liv this time & how long will it take Liv to buy them all". Meanwhile another user said: "Well if it isn’t Liv’s mum the p*** head, who’s obviously homeless and needs a place to crash #Emmerdale."
The episode showed Liv soften slightly to her mum as she gave her £10 to go and get some food. Instead Sandra was later seen absolutely legless drunk as it was obvious that she had spent the money on booze instead.
She trampled all over Ashley's grave as she said to Liv: "I told you I needed looking after." Liv eventually had enough of seeing her mum make a scene as she dragged her home.
