Emmerdale fans think a DNA bombshell is set to hit the village after Will Taylor made a discovery. The character had secretly hired someone to try and track down Jamie Tate, the son of his future wife, after his daughter Dawn and Gaby Thomas told him they believe he is still alive.
Will has been paying a dodgy contact of his, Mike, in a bid to track down Jamie, who as viewers of the ITV soap know faked his own death. After being shot in a case of mistaken identity as Gabby's paranoia about Jamie being back spiralled, Will agreed to help and asked Harriet Finch to use her position in the police to do some digging.
Then, Will was left frustrated as Gabby trawled through the various reels of CCTV footage to no avail. But he appeared to be left eating his words as PC Finch shared the news with Will that she'd found evidence that Jamie was recently spotted helping Hazel and Millie move house around the time Gabby and Dawn found their home abandoned.

So, he enlisted the help of former cellmate Mike and earlier this week, Mike told Will that a man fitting Jamie’s description was spotted near Hazel’s house and that to be able to know whether it was Jamie, he needed him to do a DNA test on baby Thomas, whom Gabby shares with Jamie.
During Thursday night's episode (June 9), Mike demanded £3K for the DNA results and as Will returned to the portable cabin, he used money from the company accounts to pay and lied to Kim about the reason why. As Mike had some news, he went to meet him but it may have been a massive waste of money.
"It's not Jamie. It was a zero match with a sample from Jamie's kid... results are in there, see for yourself," Mike told Will. When he asked who the person spotted at Hazel's was, Mike revealed: "Hazel's ex had a son, bit of a wrong'un, drugs and all that, it was him." And unfortunately for Will, a suspicious Kim spotted him handing over her cash and demanded answers.
"Please, just trust me," Will begged, only for Kim to demand answers about why he'd moved money around from their company to pay off his contact. "I've moved dead bodies for you. I've proved that," Kim pointed out, referring to Malone who was killed by his daughter Dawn,
Will then finally admitted he'd been checking out whether Jamie is still alive, or if he'd faked his death. Kim stormed off as Will tried to explain he'd been secretly searching for Jamie leaving Kim stunned. But Emmerdale fans think there is much more to the story and that it lies with Gabby.
