Earlier this week Emmerdale fans were convinced they knew the identity of the mystery woman Mackenzie Boyd slept with after he cheated on girlfriend Charity Dingle. The ITV soap couple has had a rough couple of weeks after they discovered Charity was suffering an ectopic pregnancy last month.
Earlier this week, viewers saw Mack try and talk to Charity during a wellness day he mistakingly booked in a bid to relax the pair into talking about their baby heartbreak. But when Mack plucked up the courage to suggest they try for another baby, Charity lost it.
She told him it wasn't what she wanted and that she might not even fall pregnant again. But Mack didn't listen and even suggested they looked into IVF. But when she told him to "find somebody else" if he wanted to become a dad, Mack stormed off and later sulked off into town.

But the next thing viewers knew, Mack was in bed with another woman. As he checked his phone and saw the missed calls from Charity, he smirked when the mystery lady knocked his phone out of his hand, before getting cosy under the sheets again.
Emmerdale fans were quick to suspect it was Chloe Harris who Mack had spent the drunken night with after she has been 'missing' from the soap since her stalking ordeal with Noah Dingle. However, Friday night's trip to the Yorkshire Dales left some viewers changing their mind.
After reconciling with Charity, and lying about his whereabouts the night before, Mack appeared panicked when he received an unknown phone call. It came after Mack received a message from a mystery number, that read: "Need to see you."
As he picked up the phone, he told the caller to leave him alone. He shouted: "Why are you hassling me? No, we don't need to talk about it. We need to forget about it and when we see each other at The Wooly, we need to act like it never happened." This led to belive this confirmed his mystery liaison was with someone close to home.
@VampLover27 tweeted: "Omg I’m thinking it was Chas now #Emmerdale." @RyanGSoapKing11 said: "What if Mack really did sleep with Chas? #Emmerdale." @teenamassam commented: "Could be Chas who Mack slept with I s’pose."
The suspicion comes as viewers know Chas is currently having an affair with former enemy Al Chapman. Following the news her mum's cancer has returned and it's terminal, Chas has been seeking comfort in the arms of another man. However, she has sworn to cousin Belle Dingle that she has called the affair off after she caught them at a hotel.
