Emmerdale fans thought they could have been saying goodbye to not just one but two Dingle's during the latest hour-long edition of the ITV soap. There was more drama during the special week of flash-forward episodes as Cain Dingle went in pursuit of rival Al Chapman.
During the dramatic episode, the fallout from Noah Dingle's stalking of former love interest Chloe Harris continued as mum Charity Dingle attempted to get her son away from the village and to Ireland until the dust settled. However, Amy paid her a visit at The Woolpack and demanded to talk. But as she did, she spotted Noah's laptop full of evidence.
Acting nice, Amy asked Charity for a drink so that they could talk about what had happened, however, she took the opportunity to steal Noah's laptop and as Charity gave chase, she ran and handed it to a waiting Al, who sped off to take the evidence to the police station.

But just like clockwork, Cain appeared for Noah and Charity told him what Amy and Al had done, as he prepared to give chase, sister Chas stood in his way, trying to save them both from a disaster. Soon, however, it was seen that Cain was going after Al, but with Chas in the passenger seat.
And as the sleazy businessman pulled a trick to get them off his back, Cain tried to pull a handbrake turn with his own car and sent it rolling in the road and into an electricity pole. The pair fell unconscious but as they began to wake, Chas realised they were trapped and only Al was around to help.
Despite their differences, Al managed to save them both just before an electricity pole crashed down onto the car. The pair were then taken off to the hospital where Cain's wife Moira and mum Faith were already after Faith was given the devastating news that her cancer had returned.
But Emmerdale viewers were a little distracted by Chas, who was able to run through the country roads to flag for help before she appeared pretty spritely at the hospital as she sat by her brother's bedside. Peggy Simmons said on Facebook: "For saying Chas was in the car and was unconscious in the immediate aftermath, she could have beaten Usain Bolt the way she ran down the road. She had blood from her nose and had a dirty face, yet was walking round in the hospital looking immaculate!! Not quite what you would expect after such a crash.
Heath Hincks replied: "Yes, freshly washed hair and immaculate make up in the hospital!!" while Pauline Lawrence said: "Exactly, I noticed that too..." @Jred60940998 tweeted: "So the car flipped over qt least five or six times...and Chas walking around the hospital without even 1 scratch on her face?? ....call make-up now!! #Emmerdale."
@Twig9876 also commented: "So Chas is in a car accident, unconscious and then is able to run. #emmerdale." and @Charlotte_K13 shared: "How is Chas not more hurt after that crash? poor writing #emmerdale."
Elsewhere, fans were also divided over the stunt which had been teased during other episodes throughout the week. @D1Smurphy said: "So nobody died and it wasn't the biggest stunt ever teased? We got rolled in like prime kippers... #Emmerdale." To which @AO3Trash replied: "I don’t know why I keep letting them clown me like this, but here I am."
@RileyCo10852974 asked: "#emmerdale Where are the unbelievable, never-been-done-before stunts we were promised?" and @Bazasbooks said: "So watched #Emmerdale the big stunt what a joke flipped a car hit an old telephone poll biggest danger was he got disconnected."
However, @EmmaDale022 commented back to the first tweet:" Did you expect more?" while @mikedoc90 commented: "What the bl**dy hell was that? Cracking stunt work! @emmerdale @HordleyJeff @lucyparge."
