Emmerdale fans are wondering 'how' they've managed to have not spotted the perfect couple before now as they predict a new romance is on the horizon. In recent weeks, viewers of the ITV soap have seen Bernice Blackstock and Bob Hope joining forces to become the new owners of the B&B.
Eric Pollard has decided to give up his beloved business in favour of travelling with his partner Brenda following the heartbreaking death of Faith Dingle. And wanting a new challenge, Bernice and Bob came together and put all the money they had together to give Eric an offer.
However, they almost missed out on being the B&B's new owners after Bernice's sister Nicola King and her husband Jimmy offered Pollard the asking price. But Bernice and Bob ended up coming back out on top after pulling at Pollard's heartstrings and managing to get together some additional cash to meet Nicola and Jimmy's offer.

Bernice has since been excitedly planning a makeover for The Grange while a nervous Bob has been trying to reign her in and keep a handle on the purse strings. During Tueday night's trip to the Dales (February 7), Bernice arrived at the cafe ready for a spot of DIY in her boilersuit as she wanted to start painting the property.
But Bob was quick to point out that they hadn’t even signed the paperwork yet and that she was getting ahead of herself. Bernice argued that it was just a few sample pots to test out the colours but despite worrying about the money, he soon changed his tune and asked Bernice to keep him informed in future.
And the scenes between the pair, in front of Bob's current partner Wendy Posner, left Emmerdale fans wondering how Bob and Bernice hadn't been put together as an actual romantic couple before.
