Emmerdale viewers were in tears at Faith Dingle's unexpected return to the show.
The character, played by Sally Dexter, died in heartbreaking scenes earlier this month. Fans were devastated when Faith lost her long battle to cancer.
The character's exit kickstarted a dramatic month for the soap as a devastating storm ripped through the fictional village. The epic stunt was staged to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary.

Liv Dingle died as the ferocious weather left its mark on the village. Friday's emotional episode showed Faith and Liv's joint funeral.
The Dingles gathered at church to give a tearful farewell to the two beloved characters. Eric Pollard read out a speech from Faith and viewers were shocked when the show cut to a flashback scene that showed Faith writing the letter.
Viewers following the show on Twitter were emotional after the scenes.
