Emmerdale actor Emile John appeared on Thursday's instalment of Lorraine on ITV to discuss an explosive story-line.
Recent episodes have seen his character Ethan represent a "scumbag" client who attacked Billy. A preview showed on Lorraine saw Al question Ethan as to whether he should be representing Jordan - whose motive for the assault was clearly racially motivated.
As he discussed the story-line with host Lorraine Kelly, he said "I think those words are true, but coming from Al... really?".

The 62-year-old presenter replied: "He is pretty irredeemable". Later, the topic of conversation moved to another of Emile's talents. Lorraine said: "There's a host of musical talent on Emmerdale and that includes yourself".
Viewers were then shown a clip of Emile singing. The Emmerdale star has shared a number of videos of himself covering songs on social media.
Emile said: "Music I think, well definitely was my first love". When asked by Lorraine if he planned to make more music soon, he explained he had been busy.
However, he continued: "I have become better at balancing my schedule, understanding when I need to learn lines and when I can take time for myself. I've spoken to my good friend who runs my music thing, we're getting the catalogue going. It's coming soon".
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and the ITV Hub
