Last Sunday there was a shock on the first episode of Dancing On Ice 2023 as Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was told she faced the skate-off this weekend. Love Island star Ekin-Su, who won last summer's series of the ITV dating show, received a raft of support from fans after her sexy performance last Sunday sparked 112 Ofcom complaints.
She recreated her famous Love Island terrace crawl during her racy routine - which host Holly Willoughby described as the sexiest performance" - on Dancing On Ice to Britney Spears’ hit Toxic. She looked stunning in a jumpsuit designed to be a replica of Britney's bejewelled sheer costume in the Toxic music video. The outfit was a full fabric jumpsuit but appeared to be a high-cut thong and bralet.
@EnfieldGarry said on Twitter: "Not an outfit for a family show, shame you on Ekin Su." @Dia_Monty grumbled: "Oh come on. It's week one. Ekin Sue your not going to get more points for the lack of outfit!" And @suttylass exclaimed: "Ekin hell. Bit much at this time of night."

Ekin-Su scored a total vote of 21.5 points with her skating partner Brendyn Hatfield out of a possible 40 points from the judges. Ekin-Su and her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, who was watching from the audience, both looked shocked as she landed at the bottom in week one.
Speaking on Friday night's The Graham Norton Show judge Oti Mabuse backed Ekin-Su over her performance. Asked by host Graham about the complaints she explained: "I think people complained about the outfit, how revealing it was, maybe the choreography. But I thought it was really, really sexy. For me to put yourself in that position, to wear an outfit like that ...If I had that body I would wear less."
In the second episode fans were reminded of the Ekin-Su row as The Vivenne, the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2019, took to the ice for a Cher inspired routine. @Survivinthe20s tweeted: "Now The Vivienne is wearing even less than Ekin Su is, so the grumpy whiney b*****s will be out in force no doubt complaining."
@emmaa_w said: "People were moaning about Ekin’s outfit last week, Vivienne basically has the same on." And @RockeyJackie asked: "So who’s gonna complain about The Vivienne’s costume this week?"
@jhpepp wrote: "I loved The Vivienne!! She wore less then Ekin-Su, so will the moaners complain about her costume? I guess if they don’t - is that double standards - or just because she looked better??!!"
But @StVitusDance tweeted: "I think because viv wasnt relying on costume to go through, she actually performed." And @jhpepp defended: "She wasn’t writhing around on the floor & actually skated, also Ekin-Su had a nude bodysuit which was covered in such a way she look like she was wearing a high cut thong bikini."
They added: "Viv’s was black & not as high cut. It was the outfit + routine which was sexualised." @julietb3 said: "I think a lot of people didn't get that she was recreating Britney whereas that Cher look is so iconic, and it was black net not flesh so looked less sexy." And @jhpepp replied: "Agreed - I genuinely don’t think they realised it was Britney’s Toxic look!"
@etherealnaynay gasped: "Omg that was amazing from the vivienne and @BListAtCapital enthused: "The Vivienne was bloody GREAT." Judge Christopher Dean said: "A star was born on the ice tonight. Our very own diva on ice but you are our best skating by far."
