ITV Dancing on Ice's Siva Kaneswaran was a 'mess' when The Wanted bandmate Tom Parker died and praises widow

The Wanted band member Siva Kaneswaran is taking part in the new series of ITV's Dancing on Ice, you can read all about the new series here, and has reflected on losing his The Wanted bandmate Tom Parker. Tom passed away in March 2022 after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

Since his death, his widow Kelsey Parker has released a documentary, Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom, and in the final episode Siva features when he talks about losing Tom. Posting a clip of the documentary to his Instagram Siva also praises Kelsey saying he is proud of her.

In the clip, Siva describes the moment when he is sitting in the hospital and Kelsey's mum tells them all that Tom has passed away. He said: "Well to be honest, on the day I was a mess. When your mam came in this door and said it I was a mess."

Siva captioned the post: "Beyond proud of you Kels and family and thank you so much for sharing this intimate part of your lives with us." Many fans sent messages of support in the comments of the post. In earlier episodes of the documentary, Kelsey revealed that she can no longer listen to The Wanted's music.

She said: "I can't even listen to The Wanted songs. I can't do it and the kids want to play Glad You Came all the time and I go, 'No, Glad You Came is banned'." Going into more detail, Kelsey explains: "Tom was the most amazing singer and I used to love listening to him. I find it so hard now when I actually find his music...I would give anything to listen to him in that studio one last time."
