Christopher and his ice-skating partner Jayne Torvill return as judges. They'll be rejoined by Diversity star Ashley Banjo and former Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse.
Christopher took to his and Jayne's joint Twitter account to share news of his injury. Sharing a photo of a bandaged finger, the caption read: "Yes broken," alongside a grimacing face emoji. Upon posting the photo, he was met with numerous messages of support.

In response to the photo, one person commented: "Oh no! Feel better soon!" In a similar vein, another wrote: "Oh no, really hope it recovers and heals soon." A third added: "Oh no!!!! Hope you have a quick recovery!!!!"
"Thank goodness it was only your finger," wrote another. And someone else replied: "I would go with the iron lotus story. Makes it look more heroic," in reference to a later tweet from Christopher.
11 brave celebrities are taking to the ice again this year. Among those taking part in Dancing On Ice 2023 are EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, footballer John Fashanu, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, and Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher.
Completing the grand-new line-up are drag queen The Vivienne, TV personality Joey Essex, comedian Darren Harriott, West End star Carley Stenson, singer Michelle Heaton and The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran.
