ITV Dancing On Ice judge Oti Mabuse hints she won't be returning to BBC Strictly Come Dancing

ITV Dancing On Ice 's newest judge Oti Mabuse has viewers convinced that she is leaving Strictly Come Dancing.

The Latin American and ballroom dancer, who has been a professional dancer on Strictly since 2015, joined Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes on This Morning to discuss her latest TV role.

Oti has joined the judging panel on Dancing On Ice for the first time this year, replacing former judge John Barrowman.

The Strictly pro made her debut on the much-loved skating competition on Sunday night, alongside judges Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Whilst on the This Morning sofa, Phillip Schofield revealed the schedule for Oti's upcoming TV appearances.

And it seems as though the 31-year-old has a busy few months ahead, with embarking on her own dance tour as well as hosting a brand new show.

Later this month, Oti will begin filming ITV’s brand-new dating show Romeo & Duet.

The musical matchmaking show will see singletons look for love as they are serenaded by potential matches, who they can hear but can't see.

In April Oti is going on her first ever solo UK dance tour 'I am here', which will celebrate all of the influences and inspirations that have shaped her career.

But after Phillip Schofield quizzed Oti on her Strictly future earlier today, fans are convinced that she won't be returning as a pro dancer next series.

"I've just looked at your schedule and personally I don't see how you are going to fit in Strictly," Phil said.

"On April 26 you start your tour and then you've got a podcast, and then you're the host of a new ITV series Romeo & Duet.

"And finally on the subject of being busy, I can't see how Strictly fits into this, you're choreographing a new musical about Cher directed by Dame Arlene Phillips.

"So are you going back to Strictly?" Phil probed.

Oti gave viewers an uncertain answer: "I don't know yet. There will be an announcement made officially by Strictly about all the pros.

"There is a process and a protocol to follow."

Fans however seem to think that this means Oti won't be returning to Strictly next series.

"Oti on @thismorning She didn't confirm outright, but it looks like she's leaving #strictly. She said there would be an announcement about all the professionals soon," one viewer said.

"So basically Oti is leaving Strictly #ThisMorning," @TraylorHolmes concluded.

"Aw I hope Oti doesn't leave Strictly, she's one of my favourites #ThisMorning," another This Morning viewer wrote.

The 31-year-old has become one of the most popular pro dancers on Strictly, having won the series two years in a row in 2019 with former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher and in 2020 alongside comedian Bill Bailey.

Oti has also taken seat on the judging panels of BBC One's The Greatest Dancer and ITV's The Masked Dancer.
