ITV's coverage of Argentina vs Saudi Arabia was heavily disrupted just moments before kick off in Doha.
Fans tuning in to watch Lionel Messi saw their screens break off twice in quick succession in the minutes leading up to the game's start. It came at an unfortunate time with the Saudi Arabian national anthem having started but been cut off.
Once images did return commentator Sam Matterface was quick to address the issue, saying: "Welcome back here to the Lusail Stadium, north of Doha. Firstly, we’d like to apologise for the brief loss of pictures during the Saudi national anthem."

The camera outage didn't miss kick off but did leave those watching confused ahead of watching one of the world's best stars.
It only took the Argentine star 10 minutes to score and the action was uninterupted from then on and had to be in order to witness a rapid start from the South Americans, who come into the tournament as one of the favourites.
The game is the first 10am UK time match of the tournament so far with other games on Tuesday including Denmark Vs Tunisia at 1pm and Mexico Vs Poland at 4pm. There is no night game.
