Coronation Street star Jude Riordan has thrilled fans as she shared some news about his other acting job away from the cobbles. The 11-year-old is best known for playing Sam Blakeman in the ITV soap.
The young actor won the hearts of diehard Corrie fan when he made his Weatherfield debut in 2020 after he discovered that Nick Tilsley was his father. While getting to know his dad he had a rocky start with Nick's partner Leanne Battersby as she grieved the loss of her three-year-old son Oliver.
And there was more heartache for the once space-mad schoolboy when his mother, Natasha Blakeman, was tragically killed in a case of mistaken identity. As she was laid up in hospital, little Sam told her how much she meant to him and how he was worried he didn't express that he loved her enough when she was alive.

And the youngster, who proudly hails from St Helens, Merseyside, comes from a talented family as his dad has forged a successful career in showbusiness as a television director.
