His dramatic death in a horror car smash has been shrouded in mystery and next week Imran Habeeb’s funeral takes place on Coronation Street. His new wife Toyah, who has been accused of deliberately causing his death by crashing the car she was driving, delivers a heartfelt eulogy at the service.
And she makes a shocking admission that she wishes she had died in the crash and not Imran as his friend and colleague Adam Barlow and Alya Nazir look sceptical. With the funeral over, Peter Barlow tells Toyah how the police have just questioned him about their past with baby Susie and her desperation for a baby.
Toyah calls at the police station and tells DS Swain there are things they need to talk about. Leanne Battersby calls at the police station, desperate for news of Toyah, and determined to stand by her sister. And Toyah makes it clear that she didn’t intend to kill Imran or herself.
