Toyah Habeeb let out an anguished wail after police revealed the truth of what really happened in the lead-up to her husband Imran's death. In tonight's Corrie (Monday June 6) Toyah, played by Georgia Taylor, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following the horror smash that killed Imran.
In a dramatic week of twists and turns in the ITV soap, Imran suffered a cardiac arrest after the car that Toyah was driving crashed. The love cheat solicitor pulled his new wife to safety from the vehicle but then collapsed and died after she was loaded into an ambulance.
Through a series of flashbacks it was revealed on Friday that Toyah and Imran had rowed before she told him 'I hate you with all my heart.' The car then ploughed into a building covered with scaffolding.

Toyah is still insisting that she remembers nothing about the incident and she claims she would have slowed down or turned the wheel. So there were tears as CCTV footage of the crash was shown to her on a laptop during her police interview.
"You didn't turn," she was told. As Toyah broke down in tears Imran's solicitor colleague Adam Barlow ordered that she should have a break.
@moore95_pamela said on Twitter: "Toyah, bang to rights." @WhoPotterVian said: "So Toyah did deliberately speed into the scaffolding then? Bloody hell, Corrie is full of more twisted psychopaths than Gotham!" And @j_raff2021 gasped: "Well, well, well! Look at that! Toyah sees the CCTV for the car crash."
Emotions also ran high as Imran's baby boy Alfie was taken away from Toyah's sister Leanne Battersby and placed into care after Toyah's arrest. Corrie fans saw that moments before the crash the couple had argued over Imran and Toyah winning custody over Alfie from his mother Abi Franklin.
Imran confessed to a devastated Toyah that he had framed Abi as an unfit mum, claiming she was using drugs again, so they could win the case. Fearing she would be forced to say goodbye to Alfie after previously losing foster child Elsie and baby Susie, she told him she hated him.
