Coronation Street star Alex Bain has jetted off and said 'bon voyage' to the UK after he landed up in hospital. The actor, who is best known for playing Simon Barlow in the ITV soap, reportedly ended up in A&E before his trip on Monday (May 23).
The soap star shared pictures of him sat in a wheelchair as he attended Blackburn Hospital A&E department in now-deleted Instagram Stories. According to the Mirror he joked that it was "not where he expected to end up" that evening.
He then added: "Don’t worry guys it’s just my ankle," before later added another picture showing his injury being supported by a medical boot.
