Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher is currently gearing up to make her debut on Dancing on Ice but in the meantime, she has left her co-star from her day job 'obssesed'. The actress made a brief appearance on screens on Sunday night as the ITV skating show returned.
However, she didn't make her full performing debut as the line-up of eleven famous faces and their professional skating partners have been split across two weeks. The first show of the 2023 sereis, which is hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, saw former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran, reality star Joey Essex and Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton all took to the ice first.
Viewers did get a brief taste of the whole group in action with a spectacular opening routine with the show's professional skaters. However, it won't be until this Sunday (January 22) that fans get to see how Mollie, drag queen The Vivienne, comedian Darren Harriott, and West End star and former Hollyoaks actress Carley Stenson fare on the ice.

And despite not performing over the weekend, the remaining couples were rinkside which meant that Mollie got to don her sparkles and undergo full-on glam for her first Dancing on Ice appearance. The actress, who plays Nina Lucas in Corrie, appeared to revel in the change to her usual look on the cobbles as she posted a string of behind-the-scenes selfies.
She has since returned to her social media page with more images as she embraces her fresh blonde locks. Fans are used to seeing the soap star with black hair thanks to her goth character on-screen. However, in recent months viewers of Corrie have gradually seen Mollie's hair changing - as well as her character's, of course.
Posting a fresh string of selfies to Instagram, Mollie penned: "My dancing on ice dream is really letting me live my blonde dream." And the compliments came flooding in.
Corrie co-star Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley in the ITV soap, replied: "Obsessed it’s SO GOOD Mol." Corrie's Toyah Habeeb actress Georgia Taylor commented: "Suits you, darling." New DOI co-star The Vivienne wrote: "STUN!" while Patsy posted: "Beautiful girl," alongside a string of red heart emojis.
And fans were also sending messages. @baileypicko_ said: "Ugh this blonde phase is everything." @outnumberedtoboys commented: "Omg I LOVE it." @kellycoop84 wrote: "Looks gorgeous, can't wait to see you perform on Sunday." @kerrylouisefenton replied: "You really suit it you look beautiful."
@invisiblydisabledme typed: "I am so loving the blonde hair. It really suits you." @andrewaustin296 posted: "Beautiful, good luck with dancing on ice!" @katr1299 shared: "Your hair is giving me Elsa vibes." @lisa_clare23 added: "Absolutely stunning! Really suits you."
