ITV Corrie's Lucy Fallon shows sweet moment her unborn baby kicks in pregnancy reveal video

Lucy Fallon has shared a gorgeous video showing some of the biggest moments from her pregnancy so far after announcing she is expecting her first child. The former Coronation Street star revealed on Monday (September 26) that she's pregnant with footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson.

The couple, whose love blossomed during lockdown after they met on celebrity dating app Raya, announced the news to OK! Magazine that they're set to become parents, revealing that she has been keeping the news a secret for five months.

"It feels a lot more real now," Lucy, from Blackpool, told the magazine while showing off her baby bump for the first time in a series of dramatic tulle dresses. “I don’t think I look that pregnant at the moment, just like I’ve had a lot of KFC!” she admitted.

But the former soap star, who played Bethany in the ITV soap from 2015 to 2020, has now given a little glimpse into her pregnancy so far, sharing a moving video to her Instagram page which shows her finding out she is pregnant, flashing a pregnancy test to the camera.

The sweet clips were intertwined with stunning behind-the-scenes videos from her first pregnancy photoshoot with OK Magazine. Lucy, 26, looked glowing as she posed in a series of gowns which accentuated her blossoming baby bump. She was joined by her Preston North End footballer beau and their Pomerianon pup, Sushi.

The fur baby could be seen wearing a cute heart around her neck reading, "We’ve been keeping a secret!" as the loved-up parents-to-be posed for the cameras as they reveled in their gorgeous news. There were also clips of Lucy telling her loved ones the happy news.

One showed the actress pulling out her scan picture to her shocked girl pals who quickly jump for joy before rushing to embrace the mum-to-be as she laughed at their reaction. Lucy, who lives with Ryan in West Lancashire, also shared a brief clip of her blossoming baby bump as her unborn baby kicks.

"Our baby," Lucy typed alongside the adorable video. "I just can’t wait for this next chapter with you @ryanledson8. Baby Ledson, we’re gunna have a ball." And her former Corrie co-stars were among the first to flood Lucy with their congratulatory messages.

Catherine Tyldesley, who played Eva Price in the ITV soap, wrote: "Huuuuge congratulations guys!!! Beautiful momma. So exciting." Maria Windass star Samia Longchambon commented: "Congrats to you both!! gorgeous news."

Sally Ann Matthews, who stars as Corrie's Jenny Connor, replied: "Yay!!! I can’t wait to meet the little un. Does this mean I can post my video now??!!!!" Former soap star Kym Marsh penned: " Huge congrats baby girl."

And Lucy's former on-screen mum Tina O'Brien, known for playing Sarah Platt in Corrie, gushed: " So happy for you both! You’ll be the best mummy and daddy ever. Can’t wait to meet baby and oh my this video just had me."

Ryan said the couple are "really excited" and their happy news comes after Lucy suffered a tragic miscarriage back in March. The pair had gone for a private scan when Lucy was seven weeks for some early reassurance after the news came as a “massive shock and surprise”, but after being referred to hospital they were dealt the devastating blow that Lucy had miscarried.

"It was a traumatising, horrendous time,” she told OK!. "We went for a scan and they couldn’t see anything, so then we went to the hospital and they thought they could see something, so it was very up and down."
