Corrie's Carla Connor was drawn into a pregnancy riddle in Wednesday's episode. The soap favourite, who is back on track with hubby Peter Barlow after a rocky time, raised eyebrows as they happily strolled along together. The factory boss said she was feeling like 'death warmed up' and couldn't face her breakfast.
Peter remarked: "I can' believe you turned your nose up at them scrambled eggs, they're your favourite." And she replied: "I know, I don't know what's wrong with me. I could hardly keep my coffee down."
Later in the Rovers Return she shunned a red wine, saying she couldn't face it, and opted for a lime and soda instead. @LyndseyFitz gasped on Twitter: "Ohh I hope #Carla is pregnant without anything tragic happening!!"

Rumours swirled as Carla donated clothes to a charity clothes stall, and Gemma Winter showed Chesney a denim jacket she bought. The father-of-five was stunned when he went to get Gemma's phone out of the pocket and a positive pregnancy test fell out.
He was relieved when she told him it wasn't her test. But the nosy barmaid was determined to get to the bottom of the mystery. First Daisy Midgeley and then Carla came under scrutiny.
When Gemma and Daisy challenged Carla she and Peter roared with laughter. It's a good one that one," they said. "Could you imagine?"
But later Paul Foreman recognised the jacket as belonging to Summer Spellman and covered his shock. Seeking out Summer he asked her about the test, and the 18-year-old admitted she was pregnant with Aaron Sandford who had recently dumped her after being warned away by Paul.
"He's got so much on his playe at the minute," she wailed. "How can I tell him this as well?" she asked. "He's just dumped me. He's hardly going to fall back in my arms."
Paul then confessed that he had told Aaron, who has been caring for his alcoholic dad, to back off after the mechanic had lashed out at him. In touching scenes Summer told her boyfriend about her pregnancy, and he apologised for leaving her to cope on her own.
It left Carla and Peter fans still wishing for baby news for the popular pair. @blue_laur11 said: "Wish it was Carla to be honest as her and Peter would be good parents." And @GemmaRoseDixon messaged: "Kinda wanted it to be Carla that was pregnant if I'm honest."
