Coronation Street fans were delighted by a sighting of rarely-seen characters on the cobbles on Monday night (February 6). Gemma Winter and Chesney Brown welcomed their quadruplets Bryn, Cleo, Carys and Aled - in October 2019 while on a trip to Llandudno.
In comical scenes Gemma went into labour in a cable car over the Great Orme as Chesney proposed. Viewers haven't been seeing much of the children since, and especially all together.
When Joseph Brown, Chesney's son with his late ex Katy Armstrong, went missing last year one fan joked: "I think Gemma and Chesney need to prioritise searching for their missing quads!!" So fans were stunned to see all four of them in scenes with Gemma, Chesney, grandma Bernie Winter, Joseph and Bernie's boyfriend Dev.

The family were gathered together at home as Bernie served up the tasty classic dish beans on toast, but all prepared differently for each of the quads. @demelcy exclaimed on Twitter: "The Quads." @RyanTheSoapking pointed out: "Full quads sightings." And @MeeshyJay shared a fainting GIF and said: "An actual scene with the quads."
Soap watchers commented on a rare sighting last September of two of the quads when Bernie was being paid to pretend to be her doppleganger Fern Lindon and she left her son Paul Foreman to babysit. As she returned to say she hadn't got the cleaning job, fans saw Paul playing with the quads at the dining room table.
DonnyMacEdin tweeted at the time: "Blimey we saw two of the quads tonight." @DionPetrie said: "Two quads now, we are getting closer to seeing the four of them together."And @Willswhinge joked: "I predict that we'll eventually see all the quads in the same room on their 18th birthday."
Coronation Street's producer Iain MacLeod previously explained that the quads hadn't been on-screen much due to the coronavirus pandemic. "I love that family a lot," he told the Manchester Evening News.
"I wish, for many reasons, that there hadn't been a pandemic-related containment of our filming. But what that has meant, among other things, is that we haven’t been able to see much of the quads and the children as much as we would have liked.
"And the fact is, we probably still can't see as much of the children as we'd like. But, it felt like we were now able to examine that house a bit more."
