ITV Corrie fans complain as Tim is mocked over his manhood while others are in stitches

Coronation Street fans were stunned as the soap 'went there' as Tim Metcalfe was mocked over his manhood by neighbour Fiz Stape. In comical scenes blundering Tim, played by Joe Duttine, was pretending to his wife Sally that he had forgotten their wedding anniversary.

In Wednesday night's episode (Wednesday October 5) Tim made out he had no idea it was their anniversary in a bid to wind Sally up. But his plan backfired when she tore up her card to him and left the house in a huff.

In his panic, he left the house with his dressing gown unfortunately flapping open and he unsuspectingly ran straight into gossiping Fiz and Mary Taylor. "I'd put some trousers on if I was you," Fiz told a mortified Tim.

"Or put Mr Mouse back in his House," said Mary as she appeared to move in to have a look. "Well that's not something you expect to see every day is it?" she asked Fiz.

"Not something I want to see Mary thank you very much," Fiz retorted. "He's lucky there wasn't any hungry birds flying overhead." And she added snidely: "They'd need good eyesight though."

"You are awful but I like it," chuckled Mary. Later Fiz was seen at the garage regaling her partner Tyrone Dobbs and friend Maria Windass with the juicy details.

"There wasnt much to see to be honest," she sniped. "To be fair to Tim it was pretty cold this morning." Corrie fans reacted with amazement on Twitter.

@Ockeghem1497 exclaimed with a grumpy face emoji: "Fiz having a pop at Tim's small p****!" @Jamal06122771 complained: "Omg!!! Corrie actually went there, with Fiz and Mary's comments towards Tim. Wonder how it would be if it was the other way?"

And @AntMelia94 asked: "Sorry, why is Tim’s p**** just a constant topic of conversation?" For months Tim's impotence has continued to plague his relationship with wife Sally in the ITV soap since he had a a triple heart bypass.

The popular couple tried sex therapy to try combat their troubles in the bedroom but unbeknown to Sally, Tim tried another way of getting things back on track. Fans were horrified when he started watching pornography at home while Sally was out.

Other fans found the scenes hilarious and posted crying laughing emojis. @bright_liz laughed: "Mouse back in the house." @karen_renton tweeted with amusement: "Mary bending over to get a better look at Tim's mouse out the house." And @amz07 said with a laughing emoji: "Mary having a gawp at little Tim."

Fans have seen Tim, during his marriage troubles, grow closer to friend Aggie Bailey. A grateful Tim gave his neighbour a necklace to say thanks for helping him to pick a gift for Sally, which didn't go down well with fans expecting them to have an affair.

@Willswhinge tweeted: "Can we please hurry up with the obvious affair that Tim and Aggie are going to have." And @Samanth22356123 said: "I don’t want Tim & Aggie to get it on…I think they’re friendship alone is great."
