Max Turner was arrested by the police in Wednesday's episode of Coronation Street after admitting to spiking Amy Barlow's drink.
David's adopted son had attempted to spike Daniel Osbourne's drink, but Amy instead ended up drinking the concoction leaving her in hospital.
At school on Wednesday, Amy mistook Brett's interest in her and jumped to the conclusion he must have been the one who spiked her drink. Max shared that Brett just liked her and had nothing to do with the incident.

He later spoke to Amy who revealed the spiking had left her feeling extremely anxious. Overwhelmed with guilt, Max confessed to spiking her drink. But, when Max returned home the police arrived and arrested him.
However, during the scene of Max's arrest, viewers pointed out a major difference from usual scenes. Craig Tinker is known on street as the resident police officer, so fans were surprised to see a different officer make the arrest.
Clodagh tweeted: "Who is this copper? Does Craig know he's not the only one in Manchester? Most shocking thing to happen in #Corrie for months."
Owen said: "The cliffhanger of the episode wasn’t Max getting arrested, the cliffhanger was that the police officer wasn’t Craig."
And Suzi tweeted: "Shock horror…Craig wasn’t the one who arrested Max."
