Coronation Street viewers were confused as they spotted a problem with Faye Windass' exit.
The character, played by Ellie Leach, departed the Cobbles in dramatic scenes tonight. She has been conflicted over recent weeks on the Cobbles after her former partner, Jackon Hodge, arrived back in Weatherfield.
The two are the parents of Miley and Faye, and Faye had her head turned when Jackson confessed he wanted the family to live together. Faye has been in a relationship with Craig Tinker, who fought desperately to keep her on Coronation Street.

The character, played by Colson Smith, proposed to Faye and she seemingly agreed to stay in Wetherfield. However, Faye was not herself after Miley and Jackson left during tonight's episode.
This prompted Craig to encourage her to follow her heart and leave. The two bid a tearful farewell as Faye got in the taxi to leave the famous street.
However, fans following the show on Twitter were distracted by the spontaneous exit as they pointed out Faye still had her job in the factory.
David said: "Is it me or did Faye forget to resign from her job before departing or is she intending on commuting?"
Oli added: "Didn't Faye have a job?"
Matthew commented: "Faye just leaving like that despite having a factory job"
@corriepodcast posted: "Faye’s departure is going to leave a massive hole in the factory’s sales team."
