Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon was flooded with compliments as she shared a solo snap from her family break. The actress, known for playing Maria Windass - nee Sutherland and Connor - in the ITV soap, took to Instagram to share the beautiful image with her thousands of followers.
She could be seen sat at a dinner table with a glass of red wine, donning a purple leopard print cami top. Samia, 40, gave a gentle smile for the camera as her blonde locks fell to her shoulder in loose waves.
"Autumn fun and yum dinners @thecelticmanor," she captioned the post. Appearing to confirm her stay at the 5* destination in South Wales, the mum-of-two added the hashtags 'mini break', 'happiness', and 'family time'.
Former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley was among the first to respond, typing in the comments section: "You look stunning," alongside a string of red hearts. Ex-Hollyoaks star Sophie Austin, who is engaged to Samia's former co-star Shayne Ward, added: "Beaut," with a red heart.
Fans were also commenting, with @markpreston2956 writing: "Looking swish as per samia looks like your having a ball." @mark_hales90 wrote: "You're so beautiful Samia,, lovely picture." @jenniewelham commented: "Lovely photo. You look stunning Samia." @donnaashworthwords added: "Such a glorious photo, you are luminous."
Others, however, were distracted by Samia's drink. @ alfiesdogtales joked: " Is that a #megapint? @samia_longchambon? Lol." @ stephenmac66 laughed: " Have you shrunk or is that a v large of wine." @ nickiaweddings commented: " My size glass of wine there!"
Samia's post came prior to her husband's TV returned being announced. It was revealed on Friday that Sylvain will be returning to Dancing On Ice in the new year, three years after last skating on the ITV show. It was also revealed that Vicky Ogden and Klabera Komini, who both last skated in the 2021 series, will be making a comeback.
A new addition to the 2023 line-up was also announced in the shape of world-class ice dancer Olivia Smart. who is still fresh from the 2022 Winter Olympics. Meanwhile, Matt Evers, who has been a part of Dancing on Ice since it launched in 2006, returns to the show alongside fellow series favourites Alexandra Schauman and husband Łukasz Różycki, Mark Hanretty, Brendyn Hatfield, Vanessa Bauer, Tippy Packard and Colin Grafton.
The programme, fronted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield is set to return in early 2023 and the celebrity line-up has already been confirmed with the partnerships to be confirmed 'shortly', ITV said. The celebrity competitors taking part in the new series are actress and DJ Patsy Palmer, football legend John Fashanu, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, Coronation Street’s Mollie Gallagher, Drag Queen and TV personality The Vivienne, TV personality Joey Essex, comedian Darren Harriott, actress and West End star Carley Stenson, singer Michelle Heaton and The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran.
In early 2013 Samia was of the celebs who took part in Dancing on Ice. And this is where she found love with professional ice skater Sylvain who she had been partnered up with during the series. The couple got engaged after three years and two months later, Samia revealed she was pregnant.
Samia gave birth to their first child together, son Yves, in 2015 and the couple married in 2016 at Delamere Manor in Cuddington, Cheshire. And Samia and Sylvian are more loved-up than ever with the Corrie actress regularly sharing selfies with her French husband as well as family snaps with daughter Freya, from her previous marriage to Matt SMITH, and Yves.
