Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher has undergone another dramatic transformation after asking for her fans' advice. Arriving on the cobbles back in 2019, viewers of the ITV soap were used to seeing Nina Lucas with jet black hair as she proudly went against the grain with her gothic look.
But back in 2021, the actress introduced a two-toned hairdo, adding slices of blonde to her raven tresses to frame her face and transformed her curls into a sleeker, poker-straight style. But at the end of last year, Mollie has added even more of the icy shade and with some auburn mixed in for the autumn season.
However, earlier this year, the soap star turned into a 'blonde bombshell' as she appeared on Dancing on Ice. Earlier this month fans were stunned as Mollie was voted off the ITV skating contest in the semi-final. Supporters claimed that the actress was "undermarked" after she performed an emotional skate to My Immortal by Evanescence with her pro partner Sylvain Longchambon in honour of her emotional Corrie storyline that saw her attacked for the way she looks.
For the show, Mollie looked worlds away from her character's usual gothic-inspired appearance as she ditched her signature black tresses for a bleach-blonde look. And the compliments quickly came flooding in. Former co-star Millie Gibson, who played Kelly Neelan in Corrie until September last year, wrote: "My lil blonde ice queen wowza." Daisy Midgley actress Charlotte Jordan replied: "OH MOL you look amazing!!" Tanisha Gorey, who plays on-screen partner Asha Alahan, said: "my LOVE!!! I’m so excited!!!!!!!"
Jack James Ryan, who plays the ITV soap's Jacob Hay, posted: "Blonde Bombshell yeh!?!?!" Samia also responded: "Can’t wait!! You’re both gonna be mega! X." While fellow DOI star, former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, added: "Gorgeous girl."
Now though, with her locks a mix of bleach blonde and auburn, Mollie has decided to have another change and added a new fringe to her do. The 25-year-old was seen sporting the look in a video clip, until she sprang a surprise and unclipped it.
"Fringe for Nina or no fringe for Nina" she wrote across the clip. And she was clearly in a dilemma as she asked out loud: "Does she? I don't know. Let's see."
But after testing it out, she decided to go the whole hog as she has since returned to her Instagram stories again to share a major hair update. "Yeah I got the fringe," she captioned a gorgeous selfie showing her new locks in a half-up half-down style before thanking her hairstylist Ella Green.
She has also since posted a follow-up image showing her posing in a lift. Showing off her fringe with half her hair tied up into a scrunchie, Mollie smiled for the camera while sporting a black leather skirt with a crop top and matching leather coat.
