Jude Riordan has been supported by fans as he issued a 24 hour plea.
The 11-year-old from St Helens has won plaudits from fans for his performances as Sam Blakeman in Coronation Street. Jude's portrayal as received award recognition after he bagged the Best Newcomer prize at the National Television Awards last year.
He is now aiming to add to his collection as he is nominated in the Best Young Performer category at the Inside Soap Awards. Jude is up against other talented stars such as Isabella Flanagan and Gabrielle Dowling.

The winner will be voted for by the public and Jude has taken to social media to remind fans to support him before the poll closes tonight. He said: "Last day to VOTE guys! If you'd like to vote for me you can on the link, and all things #corrie of course. Thank you for all the support."
Fans flooded the comments to say they have backed Jude in the vote.
