Georgia Taylor found herself thrust back into the Coronation Street spotlight as her character succumbed to her guilt and confessed to being responsible for Imran Habeeb's death. Toyah Habeeb has been close to the edge in recent weeks as she awaits her impending murder trial.
Earlier this year, Imran saved his wife's life just weeks after they said 'I Do' after they became trapped in their car after it plowed into a scaffolding-clad building. But as Toyah was bundled into an ambulance, it was Imran who collapsed and died at the scene from a cardiac arrest.
The pair had faced a difficult time before their marriage after it was revealed that Imran was the father of baby Alfie. And it has now come to light that lawyer Imran had admitted to Toyah that he had lied it court about Abi's drug taking in order to gain custody of his son.

In scenes aired on Wednesday night (September 14), Corrie fans watched as Toyah was able to spend some time with Alfie for the first time in months. As she sat with Alfie in Victoria Garden, Toyah was in tears as she told the tot she was sorry for taking his dad away. She was spotted by Rovers barmaid Gemma Winter who tried to check she was ok before going to the Bistro to tell Leanne Battersby she saw her sister in a bit of state.
Panicked, Leanne went to find Toayh - but she had gone awol. She enlisted the help of Spider Nugent who managed to track her down and take her back to Leanne and Nick Tilsley's flat. Shortly after arriving back, Toyah broke down in tears in front of Spider, who she recently rekindled her romance with, as he tried to comfort her.
As he showed her support and affection, Toyah fumed: "Please don't be kind to me, shut up, just shut up." As he tried to tell her she was worth of kindness, she shockingly told him: "You deserve to know the truth, it wasn't an accident, I murdered him, I murdered Imran... you're not listening to me, no, I lied to the police. I remember exactly what happened, I crashed the car on purpose!"
As she confessed, she was unaware Leanne also heard everything outside the front door and came bursting in. Spider, who has this week been revealed to viewers as being an undercover police officer, was left stunned. Backing away, he told her: "No, don't say that, I can't be hearing this" before walking out and at the end of the episode he was seen blanking Toyah's calls.
Prior to her confession, Corrie viewers saw a moment between Toyah and Kelly Neelan. The pair seemingly fell out shortly after the crash when Kellly, played by Millie Gibson, questioned whether it was an accident or if she was responsible.
Heading over to Toyah and Alfie, Kelly apologised for doubting her over Imran's death and shared how she was nervous about the upcoming trial. Kelly also told Toyah that she and Aadi Alahan are getting married - and that she was the first person she told. And it turns out that this will be the last time Corrie fans will be seen together.
Taking to Instagram after the episode, Millie, who is bowing out of the ITV soap this month in dramatic fashion, share a sweet selfie of the pair cuddling up in Victoria Garden. They could be seen keeping warm in their big red ITV branded puffer jackets.
"Last scene with my love aired tonight... @realgeorgiataylor," the teen penned alongside a tearful face and heart emojis. Georgia, who has spent decades playing Toyah in the soap, was quick to reshare the post and replied: "Love you @milliegibbo."
