Elle Mulvaney made sure she was showing her support publically to her new boyfriend as he made his Waterloo Road debut. The Coronation Street actress went public with her beau, former co-star Liam Scholes, just before Christmas.
Elle sparked rumours she was in a relationship with her fellow actor, who played Eli Higginson during Corrie's huge hate crime storyline, when she posted a snap of the all-smiling pair after heading down south for some festive cheer at Winter Wonderland in London's Hyde Park.
They have since enjoyed their first festive season together with the adorable couple posing for cute snaps beside the Christmas tree. Elle, who stars as Amy Barlow in Corrie, and Liam romantically looked into each other's eyes after dressing up for the special day, with Elle donning a black and white dress while her new man donned a vibrant teal suit.

"A glittery christmas," Elle captioned the images of the pair posing together and fans were soon cooing over the sweet images. But on Tuesday evening (January 3), Elle made sure all eyes were on Liam as he made his first appearance in the new series of Waterloo Road.
The school-based drama has been rebooted by the BBC, eight years after it was axed. The show, which ran from 2006 to 2015, was first filmed at Hill Top Primary School in Rochdale before relocating to Scotland. And the revival has seen the team return to Greater Manchester.
And bosses of the show kicked off the returning series with plenty of action as the new intake of pupils angrily protested over the school being named William Beswick High School over its namesake's connections to the slave trade. Their protest, which started off by them ditching their uniforms and jeering with placards, soon turned into a paint war.
And one of the main culprits of the paint-filled protest was Liam's character Noel McManus. As the show hit BBC One for the first time, Elle filmed the screen of her TV and penned on her Instagram Story: "Here we goooo," before tagging her partner.
Liam is yet to comment on his first scenes on air in the new series but did share a TikTok video onto his Instagram earlier this week. It featured a bunch of behind-the-scenes videos and photos from filming. "'Buzzin' for tomorrow," he wrote.
