Brooke Vincent was mortified as she shared a "sticky situation" at Aldi.
The soap star rose to fame with her portrayal of Sophie Webster on Coronation Street. Brooke arrived on the Cobbles as the renowned character in 2004 and thrilled fans with her performances until she departed Weatherfield in 2019.
The 29-year-old has since built up a large following on Instagram and regularly shares updates from her exciting life away from the screen. She has taken to the social media platform today to reveal she is "not over" her encounter at the till when she was Christmas shopping at Aldi.

She said: "So I've just been asked for ID in Aldi for trying to buy... wait for it... Christmas table crackers. I'm not over it. Not even something good."
The soap star went on to share advice for how people can avoid a similar situation. She said: "So just a little heads up for all you over 25s that look under... like myself. Take your ID everywhere or you may find yourself in a sticky situation like myself. I actually went in for brioche and raisins and came out with a full Christmas shabang trolley... minus the crackers."
Brooke quizzed followers if they do the same at Aldi and found a whopping 88% agreed they come out with more than what they went in for.
